Good idea Mark, I'll add a few directly to topics in my main buildup that take you directly to the first post about the topic. Just keep an eye on this post as I will just add them to this post

Rod's Drawer unit
viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1406&start=287

Still to come,
Rod's Hot Water Install
Rod's Plumbing for 2 way water shower

Might be a few more when I dig through it. If the topic changes before the project finishes, and I can find a post I can edit, I will add a link to jump in my buildup to carry the story on without reading about the other

We could give it a try Rod.
The only thing I can see a problem with is when somebody asks a question about a project of yours it will whack the post at the end of the thread. Your buildup thread might become a bit disjointed and confusing as a result.
Another question. How do you link to a post? Ive only figured out how to link to a page on a thread!

Pretty easy really. the key is in this bit at the end of the URL to the link:
Code: Select all
&start=287

You see, the first link in the page might be say 280, and this one is seven more down from the first reply on the page. Just count down the replies from the top of the page link (to get to 287 in this instance) and that is the direct link to the reply you want.
