Magnaflow or Pacemakers?

Been speaking to the local exhaust shop guys today, and where trying to get a system ready for my TRD,
Now, I was also speaking to a guy at the Australian Performance centre and they have both said
different things.
One reckons Pacemaker Cats are the way to go, the other says Magnaflow cats are the way to go.
They both sell both brands, and they cost the same, so I dont see how they would benefit over selling one or the other,
so does anyone know what the go is? Magnaflow or Pacemaker cat converters?
I will be running pacemaker headers, cats?? 3" stainless system into a Magnaflow muffler.

Hi-Tech manufacturers their own stuff
for all exotic cars, and for 4x4s and stuff there the Bee's Knee's but each to their own really.

Be very careful i have just had pacemakers and 3inch exhaust fitted and it has been a nightmare first the computer couldn't cope with the new exhaust and wouldn't change gear properly and it is down on power big time no more wheel spin at the lights.
. second it sounds like a p platers lancer absolute rubbish
The shop has been very good at trying to get it sorted though, going back for the third time next week to see if i can get it sorted.
cheers jason

Mines Perfection to say the least , the system is 2.5 and was worked out carefully, it sounds like a HSV , and yes i can spin the wheels at the lights , changes gears like a dream.
Lambros @ Hitech was brilliant as usual.

Is yours a TRD TRDLUX?....
I believe your the first I've heard of having issues with the pacemakers...Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass, all four essential food groups:
alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.
Yes it is a trd, one of the first series before the audio controls ect.
I also found a post on a commodore forum where a guy over east put an exhuast on a trd and the computer didn't like it also, so maybe they are using a different computer on the TRD's.
The exhaust was by a perth company it is mandrel bent stainless, with pacemaker ceramic coated headers, i can't find the brand of cats but they are stainless as well, then a big muffler then a smaller resonator of there own brand as well
after the joining of the 2 pipes it is all in 3 inch. The worst bit is after seeing the prices quoted in here for an exhaust i got screwed big, for something that looks very pretty but sounds and goes awful.
Atleast they have an unconditional sound guarantee so if your not happy they will change it.
cheers
jason

You mean a sound file of what it sounds like ? no i dont but i will try and make one......
If you have ever heard a VW R36 , its very similar to that without the pop of the DSG gearbox changing up and down.
