Some info for everyone in case you have your mobile phone stolen anytime in the future....

How to disable a STOLEN
mobile phone:

_**To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following
digits on your phone!:

star-hash-zero-six-hash

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to
your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your
phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them
this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if
the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.
You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that
whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this,
there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Cheers Rich.

PS jsmith81 what did you do, I missed it...?

As I said, it wasn't me. Someone has "keylogged" my work computer and can see all my passwords. The computer guy has been called in and it's been fixed. (hopefully)

Well, I got the Hilux back today. All fixed and looking good. Still need to sort out with Suncorp what is happening with the GPS that was covered.

Tuesday before I can sort that now. All up i'm out of pocket about $2200 plus work is out (Their Lap Top) about the same.

Suncorp are out around $2200 once you take out excess ($400) as the repairs added to $1600 + GPS.

So all up these scum cause $6600 damage in just a few seconds. Not bad work if you can get away with it.

The cost on the community must be huge when you see these figures. It happens every day somewhere.

Regards,
Camwill69

Ps, Thanks for the support everyone.
