How much difference does it make taking the muffler out? Can you buy the replacement bit or need exhaust place to make one?

I think it sounds heaps better without the muffler. As Dan said a bit tractor like but lots of turbo whistle. I've got a Humex system. They make a centre section with or without the muffler, I have both.

i have the equipmet at work to cut the muffler out myself...but a muffler shop shouldnt charge you more than 100 bucks to do it, i got a hotdog put into one of my other cars at scotts rods and it was under 100 bucks

bought a DONALDSON fuel water seperator kit this arvo, 77 bucks including gst :D gotta love having contacts....now just gotta fond somewhere to put the bloody thing

fitted the fuel/water seperator this arvo, piece of mind is good, i found a spot for it on the engine, just rear of the dipstick tube there is a clamp with 3 fuel lines running through it, i modified the filter housing to pick up these 2 bolts and still clamp the fuel lines in place, looks pretty neat i reckon

I have been putting this off for a long time, but i mostly get my fuel from city servos for now.
