Re: COSKI'S FIRST 4WD BUILD. 3inch lift 33inch muds

Postby danmcccc on Wed, 20 Apr 2011 2:43 +0000

HERE WE GO THE MOMENT WE HAVE ALL BEING WAITING FOR
play this video in another window while looking at this post
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWnmCu3U09w
3 inch lift fitted :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

here it is at work after driving it back from superior
Image

and now with the 33's fitted
Image

Image

and parked up next to one of the escort luxs at work whos front guard to middle hub measurement was withing mm's of mine before it went to get lift

Image

Image

superior engineering are a pretty decent bunch for anyone looking for suspension...theyre rear shakles that are on mine are the heaviest ive seen on any 4wd...

the rims im running are king 16x8 with 20p offset
tyres are LT285/75r16 10ply
on full lock when u stall out the steering pump there is the most minor of scrub but thats all so far...im going to modify the upper bump stop like max did
as for body mount and the rear of the front guard, there is a good 8-10mm of clearance allround even with the heavy as shit truck driver jumping up and down on the bullbar

the edge of the tyre fits perrrrfectly flush with te edge of the flare too

im gonna be up for UCA's tho coz at full droop they hit on the spring

the 33's look huge...might have a look at what it will cost to get a second set of tyres in a 31'' and a decent offset 16x7

cheers
Dan
