Lux is lookin tough jack, must be great to finally test out all those $$$ youve put into the beast 8-)
But Is it just me or do those cat mudflaps sit too high up to be effective?

Thanks for all the postive comments guys, ive put a far bit of work into the lux and still a fare bit too come! But it was very nice to get out there and really test the lux and all the gear....
Keep the comments coming :lol:

Madtam: I guess by looking at the photos and seeing all the mud/clay on the different sections, theres only so much i can cover up, and with the thickness of the stuff we went through yesterday, i dont think it really would of mattered how long the mud flaps were, if they were hanging down too low you could of said good bye to them.
None the less, they still do the job i was after....

Looks awesome mate. How well does it flex?
Did you find the sway bar mounts made much difference?

:lol: haha Mick, i was guessing you would of been the first one to bring that up, but i am blaming that on my mate Ray, who tied it down and didnt to it right :lol: .
But it was the spare wheel and esky. It was all tied down and going up one of the hills i must of given it a fare jolt and the strap became loose, it wasnt long after that i lost them both :oops:
But ive bought some better more reliable straps today that will do a better job for next time!!

mmaaxx wrote:Nice to see you getting your dirty Jack...how did she perform? did you get any rubbing offroad?

Max it preformed really well, it has been the first time ive given it a good run and it performed to what i wanted!
No rubbing that i know of though Max, i could do a little more at the front in different places but nothing to rush into, just a little extra room to move!

Really looking forward to getting a new bar and gaining that extra height + angle

Mate the front flexed pretty good, cant complain about that, though extra travel is never missed (ie, REKON kit). But i am pretty happy with it for now, as to do with the rear flex, that was pretty awesome. With the few changes i made to the leaf pack and having my tray means a can get as much flex as i want, untill it hits the stops..
With the sway bar relocators, i cant comment as they arent installed....

I'd roll with it Jack, the chicks love old Hugh. For the record though, you are one hairy 19 year old.

Two thumbs up for putting the lux through her paces mate.

Has anyone ever noticed that Alby has an extremely long thumb....... and very petite hands...
Perhaps he should have been cast in the movie Avatar.....
Look at this example...

All good movie stars never drive vehicles and Brad Pitt is under tow in this shot...

Im thinking that Jack more fits the movie teen wolf... Rather than Wolverine Max... Another quality keeper for the site has now been saved to my photobucket account.... :) :)

On behalf of everyone let me apologise for having fun on your thread Jack. To get back on topic why don't you give us a run down on what's next for the lux. Including installing the gear you've already got sitting at home.

Bill: as to do where the lux is going, will be the following:
* Buddy bar or Xrox (which i will infill the side wings), just waiting on completion of buddy bar and i will make my decision!
* I have the LED light bar which will go on top of which bullbar i choose.
* Some LEd reverse/work lights.
* Dig-Options Headunit with reverse camera.
* Maybe a few more cosmetic things to snaz up interior.
* Bluetougne Air Compressor.
* Deciding weather i will lock front and rear!?
* New exhaust (more than likely Humex)
* Some recovery equipment
* REKON suspension kit.
* More than likely a few things here and there!
