I rekin you wait that little bit longer Jack. Xrox is awesome in my opinion but don't rush into anything. Buddy's Bar will prob look amazing. You've waited this long just hold out that little bit extra  its comming :D :D

I've hit a roo (medium size) at 90km/hr with the xrox. was lucky it was smack bang in the center tho which is the stongest bit. Didn't even leave a mark. I think it'd be a pretty different story if it was to hit on of the wings. Would have takin out my control arms and all my steering.

I aint going to do anything untill after Easter, so hopefully it doesnt take overally too much longer to be finished and fitted on a lux, but that picture of the bar sitting on the ground. Why isnt that fitted to a lux yet? :?

But yes, i will be waiting to see the buddy bar fitted, ive waited 6 months for it, another couple of weeks wont hurt....

I am starting to think that maybe the XROX bar may suit better though being a tube bar, it might follow through and look better with my tray and sliders all being majority tube!
Anyway will see what happens!!

Mick I've waited this long like you have and everyone else to see the buddy bar finally finished and fitted and that's what I'll wait for to make my final decision!
Yes I am really liking the look of the xrox but you never know, buddy bar might jump out at me and change my mind completely....

Re: Jack's Lux-snaz up interior a little

Postby Jack S on Sat, 23 Apr 2011 2:58 +0000

Well went on a little ebay spree the other week for couple of things to snaz up the interior, and i found some carbon fibre covers, so i ordered them to check out what they look like and i didnt mind them at all, so i decided to chuck them on, they are only held on by some double sided tape, so i can take them off easily!

I also had a look or some new rubber floor mats to replace my old ones and came across these genuine ones. I like the rear as it is a one peice item....

First off the mats:

Twisty: just type in "rubber floor mats for hilux vigo" or something like that in ebay and a heap of different sellers will come up, the ones i got were from a bloke in sydney and cost $120 or around that all up (front and rear).

Danmcccc: The carbon fibre covers are definatley from Thai, though pretty good quality and looks great!

Jap: more horses the better

Na its alright dude, your post related to one of the questions asked..

The $120 or what ever it was that i paid was for both front and rear mats, the rear was a little extra than the normal ones due to it being a 1 piece item...!
