haha we're a fickle bunch mate. Don't listen to us all, we're just jealous that we're not all young and single with a bottomless pit of money to spend on our luxes. You're doing a great job bud, all your research and hard work is paying off. Having said that, I am looking forward to seeing what this thing of yours can do.

Nice bits of gear Jack....where are you planning on fitting the LED strip? Im assuming on the bullbar but maybe on the roof?

Yes, you need to get rid of that front snow plough you have attached to your hilux. And you should have taken the pics on a black rug for contrast......you must have some connection with that orange one.....

Max i spend all my money on the hilux, i got no money to invest in a new 'black rug'.

I was planning on fitting the light bar on the bull bar, not directly on top though, bit of an angle....

Yes i know, bloody snow plough :x

Yea a little I guess!
The current plan might be to put my old stock 29" Tyres on untill I sort out everything that's going on! But will inform everyone later about what I end up deciding to do...

Small update guys:

Here is the story: ive been looking for a spare tyre at the right size to suit the rest (285/75R16), been ringing everywhere and no one had a second hand tyre of that size. On thursday i thought i would ring up a few places again and just try my luck. I ran up a local tyre mob and asked, he replied saying we actually had a bloke bring in the tyre size your looking for in a Cooper STT, only problem is its got a small cut in the side. I said, mate its only going to be used as a spare, any chance you can repair it and make it good enough for a spare tyre, which hopefully i wont have to use anyway. So he repaired it, it holds air and the best thing it was a brand new tyres and cost me $50. (the guy who had it before used it as a spare too, he got bogged and his mate had to pull him out, in the process something hit the tyre and made the cut, instead of him fixing it he just said give me a new one.) So i got it fitted to the stock steel toyota rim, doesnt actually come up too bad. Also STT is about an inch bigger than my KM2!

Cooper STT,

The cut:

Just put it where the spare normally goes i dont mind it here,

Sorry boys thats all i got :(

I always take my spare out from underneath when we go offroad cause I'm worried I'll rip mine open like that one. Forever hitting the tow bar on the ground and don't really want the side wall of the tyre dragging aswell. 305 tyre hangs down a fair way. So maybe throw it on the tray when a heading bush jack. It's a real PITA but maybe worth it.

Stt looks a tad better then the cheese cutter that was there!

No it was nothing to do with the spare Bill, that was just something ive been meaning to do for ages...

But the 'hissy-fit' as you called it, was in reference to something else!

Bill you can do anything you like ;)

Anyway guys, i bought this tool box the other week when i fitted the tray.
Its a nice steel box and very sturdy, i am happy with how it looks on the back and their is enough room to chuck everything inside. I made sure there was enough room on the tray so i can chuck up the spare like a few of you boys have mentioned!!
Size of tool box is: 1200 x 450 x 365

And just the smallest mod i did, but where the grease nipples are for my shackles, you couldnt get to some because the exhaust was in the way and now the spare takes up much of the room, so i grabbed some new 90 degree ones...
Only something small get very effective ;)
