Nice Maloo! I almost got that instead of my lux, figured it wasn't practical though.
Def a good option if you're gonna have a bash-about camping rig to go with it though.
Cheers,
Jay

Checked out insurance today and it works out the same... Couldn't find a tick box for supercharger so that will boost it a bit.

Got told the same by youi today, don't think my parents would do that for me. And they are off sailing at the moment anyway. The louisiades I think.. Somewhere with no phones.

Got another quote from AAMI tonight over the phone so everything is accounted for and it came back about the same as the Hilux so pretty happy with that.

Aami told me that the lux is, or is one of, the most exy cars to insure due purely to the fact that there are so many of them. That means that there is a higher number of incidents on the road involving hiluxes therefore making them on paper a higher insurance risk which passes on to us as a higher premium.
Shit ay

Almost right mate,

What is is the actuaries have more statistical information to rate the Hilux correctly due to the shear numbers of vehicles and incidents as you say. So they can accurately rate each driver, area, age etc etc.

But yes sucks we still have to pay throughout the nose for insurance.
