Well either bar i do get it will have a centre hoop as this will be the place i will mount the 20" light bar i got sitting here...

Yes i agree Dute, the xrox bar with the wings filled in and a few lights does look pretty tough!
Hopefully the buddy bar doesnt take too much longer to be fitted on a lux

i vote the xrox. they may only be tube, but they fit the front end really well. they are tough as guts and weigh next to nothing.

but by far the best thing for jack is the amount of spot light tabs... you will be able to have like 30 spot lights jack and 2 nice fog lights fitted in the bar itself. this means no missing out on any future group buys for lights...

Im positive jack wont ever miss out on any group buys even it means he has to buy a 2nd lux or and fj cruiser to fit them to

Another good thing about the xrox is the sides wings are replaceable if they get damaged.
Whats the price on each bar?

Well i dont plan on fitting too many spotties, it will have a light bar on top than later on down the track 2 HId spotties in the midle....

Group Buy? Who said Group Buy....

Well to get a raw XROX bar is $900.
And unsure what the Buddy Bar will cost (i dont think there has been a price set) but say $1300 :?

It's on the first page of the thread Jack

viewtopic.php?f=46&t=7242&hilit=buddy+plate+bar

$1,490 plus $150 for hoop.

$900 for Xrox where have you found that? OL wants $1,100 for them

Thanks for that Mick, is that are the first bar or is that a refined price for the one they are now happy with?

Well to be specific its $860 + delivery off Monster Rides, but this is for the xrox that is raw (unpainted), so that is where the $100 saving comes from. Getting it raw as i want the wings infilled than i can get it all powdercoated at home....

I like the xrox bar as well jack with the lightforce 170's or 140's spottys (cant remember what ones fitted) mounted in the wings IMHO they look awsome 8-) but i think the buddy bar will suit your lux better 8-) either option is gonna look awsome on your lux

I'm stoked with the XROX at first I wasn't sure how well it would suit it but it came up sweeeeet :D I like being able to replace the wings individually if need be and the have brackets galore.

Well I wasnt a massive fan of it first either, than seeing it fitted to some lux's, and seeing the wings infilled. I started to like it alot more and started to grow on me...

Jake: Well ive talked to a few blokes and they have all said how suprisingly strong it is in person. Yes if you hit a roo doing 120 than it will do some damage, but at the end of the day it wouldnt matter what bar you had it will still do damage. You could have a massive 5 post tuff bar and a roo could still f$@#&% a few things...
But i guess you have to loose some on-road protection, for off-road advantage!

Dute: The XROX was the way i was swaying to anyway, i just wanted to put it out there and get opinions from others...

Just think, XROX bar with wings in-filled, 20" light bar mounted on top, and 2 HID genisis or xgt in the middle

Don't rush anything yet Jack, seeing the bud bar in person it is a seriously nice bit of kit. The lines and welds are amazing, plus it's designed for you to fit some monster flares in the future. It has holes for spotlights and a flat surface on top for all the led bars. Wait to see one fitted first and you're mind will be made up.

Plus it looks like it was made to suit a hilux, and it's also tough as!
