I’ve had a set on for about 3 years now. Had teething issues with the ballasts initially and went through about 3 or 4 sets as they kept failing. Been ok since though. Lighting is much better than standard or depo stuff. IMO they also look way better

Mick's HID retrofits in Newcastle did them for me, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of both the paint job on the reflector and the parts included.

Can I ask what type of ballasts are running them? NHK? Morimoto?
Again mine are fine and have been for a few years now. They aren’t cheap but I would purchase them again.

I was reminded to update this by another post, the old girl has been feeling a little loose in the front end lately, so I've decided to give it a refresh. I've given up on getting the fancy Icon gear due to availability and cost, so I just bought a set of Bilstein Platinum struts from Cal Offroad, and a set of UCA's from Superior Engineering, I'm waiting on a set of Superpro LCA's as well so I can just replace all the worn bits in one hit (maybe I should get new wheel bearings too).

I've already fitted a heavy duty sway bar with relocating plates and sliding links, I just need to modify one of the front skid plate mounts for more clearance (or I could just remove the relocating plates, as the bar doesn't seem to contact the strut at my lift height).

Stuck the new gear on the front end this week, will worry about the back end in January. I also shelved the sliding swaybar links for the time being because while they do work well, they clunk like crazy which is no fun on a daily driver.

I was having a bit of a play today, and noticed something I hadn't before. I have no idea what brand of springs the previous owner put on this thing, but it seems like they have more to give.
My shock looks to be topped out, and my handbrake cable is pretty much at its limit, but the shackle is only just getting to vertical.

Finally got around to replacing the dead shocks on the back end, still undecided on what to do with the leaves. I was considering an RG conversion, but I might just throw some parabolics on. Or I could just use basic light duty leaves and save my dollars for a coil conversion down the line.
I used Superior Engineering 2.0 shocks.

I actually got to go off-road today, my first time in low range for 2020, can't believe I'm saying that in the middle of December.

Fitted some ditch lights before the Christmas break, Stedi floods on Buds brackets.

Won't be much more happening for a while, because 2020 got one last hit in before new years, now I'm laid up with a broken arm and sprained ankle (Bushwalking accident).

Fitted some Stedi Type X Pros on the weekend, ordered some sliders too, (poor old side steps have had enough) should be here in a few weeks.
It's nice being able to reach low range territory in the middle of a lockdown, but I'm really craving a proper roadtrip...

I have some new Rockcrawler leaves on the old girl, rides so much better now.

I tossed up whether or not to do an RG conversion, but figured the majority of my use is touring (when it's allowed), so small boost in flex isn't a big priority right now.

Trying out the Nexen Roadian MTX, hardly any reviews available for these, but what I have seen has been very positive,
still trying to find a suitable replacement for the unicorns (ProComp X-Terrain's) that are now discontinued, but were great at everything.
